28.12.08 Counting down the days until our little man Toulouse Piérré comes to live with us! FRIDAY 2nd January is the day and we are all very excited. Of course we will take millions of photos and they will be displayed in his very own album.
02.01.09 Our beautiful little boy is finally with us. A few photos are on the site now as well as a few more of Tahliah who we will pick up on the 16th January. Very excited! Toulouse Piérré is a bit timid, but I am sure once he has settled in he will rule the roost!
08.01.09 Toulouse has settled in really well, took about 3 days, loves his tucker and Shiloh is mothering him beautifully. They are running around like best friends.
Tahilah Rose countdown begins....16.01.09 is the date!
16.01.09 Tahliah is here! She brought her sister with her too, her name is Tory. Tory is a Chocolate Pointed Lynx (Tabby if you prefer) They both have settled in well with Shiloh and Toulouse.
The next and final arrival is Saphyra from Adelaide. We will fly over and get her on the 3rd of February, then our family will be complete. Stay tuned.....
05.02.09 Saphyra is here! Thank you Elly Barton from Amberglade Ragdolls in Adelaide. Our Adelaide trip was lovely and our final addition is settling in really well. She is a very cuddly vocal girl. Beautiful markings. Saphyra is a blue point female.
15.02.09 Everyone is now settled...Saphyra took a bit of time to warm to the "others" New photos have been added as the weeks are flying past.
I would just like to mention the past week has been unbelievable and tragic for many people involved in the bush fires here in Victoria. Our hearts go out to all involved. xox
17.03.09 Time is passing quickly. Our babies are growing up beautifully. Shiloh, Tahliah and Saphyra have now been DNA tested and www.animalsdna.com have verified they carry the chocolate gene. Shiloh is 6mths old today. She is very much still the boss and keeps everyone in line, including us, she seeks out her cuddles when she feels like one! Toulouse is the most gentle beautiful boy we could have asked for...Mr Placid. Tory loves a cuddle, very mischievous & funny girl. Tahilah just goes about her business and doesn't bother anyone, she loves to play and sleep. Saphyra is the biggest attention seeker of them all...still very vocal and demands her cuddles.
01.05.09 Toulouse is now 6 months old! Everything is ready to go for the breeding season coming up. Shiloh, Toulouse, Tory, Tahliah & Saphyra are all looking beautiful and fluffy as their winter coats are coming on.
05.05.09 Well how times flies... the girls are coming into breeding season, now it's a waiting game... who, when, how many & colours and sexes? How exciting! Toulouse is well and truly ready and hopefully I will have some news for you all in the coming weeks. Shiloh is about to turn one..followed closely by Toulouse. I have added some updated photos of all of my babies..gee they are turning out to be gorgeous looking cats if I do say so myself!
06.11.09 Exciting news, Shiloh is pregnant! VERY pregnant... due around the 9th November...oh I can't wait... our first babies! So much going on in this house...we got married, we have been to Europe for our honeymoon...
11.11.09 ***Congratulations Shiloh Rose!!*** We welcomed our very first litter into Rosecoloured Ragdolls on this Remembrance Day 2009. Lest we forget. Shiloh delivered 6 beautiful kittens this morning within 3 hours without a sound! Such a beautiful, caring & dedicated mother instantly. We are very proud. Sexes and colours to be advised soon. (1-3weeks, approx)
21.11.09 I am still trying to determine the colours of these kittens!!...not an easy job at all! My guesses are 1 blue mitted male, 1 seal point female, 2 blue mitted females, 1 seal mitted female...ummm maybe! It is with great sadness that we lost one of our little girls 16.11.09, Milly Dawn. (her name was from feeding her "milliliters" and Dawn as she was born on the morning of Remembrance Day Dawn Service.) All of Shiloh's remaining babies are doing very very well.
13.12.09 I know the colours & sexes! My guesses were right all along! YAY me for my first time! Our one and only boy is a Blue Mitt with a small blaze. Our 4 girls are Blue Mitt with blaze, Blue mitt, Seal mitt, Seal point. ALL of our kittens have been DNA tested and they ALL carry the chocolate gene..well done Shiloh and Prince (both carry chocolate)
I have also tested Toulouse, Shiloh, Tory, Tahliah & Saphyra for HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) & PKD (Polycystic kidney disease) ...EVERYONE came back CLEAR for the gene that causes these problems...fantastic result :)
Wishing all a very Merry Christmas and a very happy & safe New Year, please take care :)
11.01.10 Tahliah & Toulouse are proud parents of five beautiful babies born last night, all doing well. Expected colours are, seal carrying blue & chocolate, blue carrying chocolate, chocolate & lilac. Bi-colour, Lynx & pointed patterns. Updates in a few weeks on sexes, colours and patterns.
13.01.10 Tahliah's babies are growing rapidly! We have 2 males & 3 females. Early guesses are - Two lilac males, 2 possible seal or blue or chocolate female & 1 lilac female..I think! All seal & blue kittens will carry the chocolate gene. Patterns will have to wait for a while until they are older.
26.01.10 Happy Australia Day! Congratulations to Carol & Michael for being our very first Rosecoloured Ragdoll adoptive parents to Rosie. Congratulations also to Darren & Alexander who adopted our only boy from Shiloh's babies.
11.02.10 Tahliah's kittens are growing rapidly. All over 500g at 4 weeks old! They are all bouncing around playfully. Tory is pregnant to Toulouse. Lets hope she has a safe delivery and healthy babies. She is due around 10th march.
21.02.10 Due to a certain person putting unwanted articles on my comments page I have had to shut it down. Thank you to all who made positive comments in the past. It is a shame that I have to do this because of a certain person who gets a kick out of doing this sort of thing. Cheers!
24.02.10 Three of Tahliah's babies have been forever homed to very happy families, thank you. Please if you are interested in adopting one of our babies contact me asap to avoid disappointment...I know this sounds like a cliche but it really is true! You may put your name on my waiting list and I will endevour to supply you with your very own Rosecoloured Ragdoll as soon as a beautiful kitten with your preference comes along. I do have a waiting list and those who have their names and preferences noted will take priority. Tory has only 2 weeks or so to go...I'm getting excited!
02.03.10 Hi Everyone, I have brought back my comments page..I have password protected it for MEMBERS ONLY I am hoping this will stop the destruction on my comments page...how about we give it a go? 07.03.10 Well the time is getting nearer for Tory and I am waiting with baited breath..she is quite large and uncomfortable 3 or so days to go... Imogen, Evie & Isobel are growing up very fast at 17 weeks old now & turning out to be beautiful, playful, loving girls.
12.03.10 Congratulations Tory & Toulouse..four babies born in the wee hours of this morning...yawns... updates as soon as I know....night night :)
23.03.10 We have some very excited new adoptive parents who will be picking up their new babies from Tahliah's litter over the Easter weekend. Lots of emails going back and forth from very excited family members who can't wait...the wait will be worth it :)
02.04.10 Happy Easter everyone. I hope this holiday period finds you well, happy & safe. A very busy time of late here at our home. Tory's babies are doing brilliantly. Congratulations to all of the new adoptive parents from Tahliah's litter. Some of our new adoptive parents will be taking their babies home this weekend. Tahliah's entire litter is now sold. Congratulations to Darren & Alexander for being our very first adoptive parents to own TWO Rosecoloured Ragdolls..I am so proud & elated that you guys came back for another one of our beautiful babies. The next snippet of news will be Shiloh & Toulouse's babies..due around the 20th April. (last babies for the season from Rosecoloured Ragdolls) Please if you are interested in adopting one of our babies...please email me and tell me your preferences..my registered wish list comes first :) Take care all.
12.04.10 Only just over a week to go for Shiloh's babies to make their entrance. Even though it is the last litter for the season it will be just as exciting as the first. Expected colours are seal, blue, lilac & chocolate. Seals & blues will carry chocolate. Lynx & point markings. Toulouse's first show is coming up on the 1st & 2nd May. It is the CCCA National Cat Show at the Melbourne Show Grounds, Boulevard Pavilion...how exciting! Good luck to Toulouse Piérré.
21.04.10 Umm helloooo Shiloh...c'mon girl! I'm afraid I still get a little excited and impatient! I have a new little boy..his name will hopefully be André Cholét. He is Tory's & Toulouse's little chocolate point...absolutely stunning little man...did I say little?? Oh umm he's actually very large for his age! I want to keep the others too, but of course I cannot. Hopefully I will have some news by the morning on Shiloh :)
23.04.10 Last night before bed at around 11pm I visited Shiloh and she put her paw on my hand & gave me her little whah as she does when she talks to me, i said goodnight..I knew something was going to happen.. so did she...it was beautiful.. lets face it..it was about time..sure enough.. I got up at 2am and Shiloh had delivered all of her 6 kittens. Congratulations to Shiloh & Toulouse. Mother & babies are doing well so far. This will be the last babies for Rosecoloured Ragdolls for the season. I do not know the colours/markings as yet..way too early. I believe we have 3 females and 3 males..I may have to adjust that as well. All information has been put on the Available kittens page. Updates will follow in the coming weeks.
*************** Lest we forget ***************
25.04.10 Shiloh's Babies are doing well. I have 4 girls and 2 boys...not 3 of each..well today that's what I have :)! I see their tiny little ears colouring up already..the guessing game begins..I see blue maybe seal and I see lilac...they could trick me in the coming weeks and be chocolate..ahhh this is what I also enjoy about these beautiful little babies. I have just re-homed Tory's lilac lynx male to Heidi for her daughter's 7th birthday..what a surprise that will be for her! I have only 2 chocolate lynx pointed females left from Tory's babies. They are 6 weeks old now and growing into beautiful girls, just like their mum.
26.04.10 Well guess what?..today I think we have 4 boys and 2 girls..I am handling them very quickly as not to disturb them or their mummy too much..I will let you all know when I know..for sure! :) I have taken some new photos of our chocolate lynx girls from Tory's babies today and they are on the available kittens page.
29.04.10 Oooops we have 3 of each! We have definitely have 2 seal, I also think we 2 blue and 2 lilac or chocolate, more time needed for colouring up. One little miss has her eyes open today and another with half an eye open :)
02.05.10 Congratulations Toulouse Piérré who will now be known as Gd Ch Toulouse Piérré (Grand Champion) He earned two titles over this weekend & won three placings from 8 rings & passed all of the rings at the World Congress Cat Show at the Melbourne Show Grounds. It was a very long weekend with an early rise of 4am on Saturday morning and a return home at 6.30pm. Sunday was a little better..5am rising & 7.30pm home! We met some very dedicated breeders of Ragdolls Cats at the show. I thank my family & friends for being there to support me over the weekend. Toulouse attracted heaps of attention with his huge round blue eyes and soft fur coat. I must say a very very interesting weekend indeed!
11.05.10 Hi again..well I have never had a litter I have been so confused about..sexes, colours & markings! Maybe I am just tired..being the last litter for the season. Time is certainly helping. Sorry to all who are waiting with baited breath to see if I have a Rosecoloured Ragdoll baby for you. Many many thanks to all of you who have enquired and I am sorry I could not fulfill all of your dreams of adopting a Rosecoloured Ragdoll, the phone & emails are still running hot! I thank you all for your wonderful positive comments and encouragement, absolutely uplifting to hear you saying I am doing a fantastic job.
17.05.10 OK I know now..I know all the colours and markings! I have posted all the information on the Available Kittens page. Three out of six of Shiloh's babies are now sold. I think many were sitting there watching my site until I posted what I had. A big thank you to all of you on my waiting list for being very patient with me.
29.05.10 Today we made the trip to Tullamarine to farewell "Goldie" to her new family in Brisbane. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Lisa through many an email. I must say I have been dealing with the best people. I am very happy with our babies new families. We only have four kittens left in total. Chifon is from Tory's litter and she can go to her new family at anytime after being de-sexed. Our three beautiful kittens available from Shiloh's babies can go to their new families around mid July. Please have a look at the pictures on the Available Kittens page.
31.05.10 Toulouse & André..what a team! Father & son did very very well at the cat show yesterday. Toulouse received EIGHT 1sts, ONE 2nd & ONE 3rd in his classes. He also came 2nd in both main rings..A massive WELL DONE for only your 2nd show. André did very well too for his very 1st show receiving FOUR 1st's, TWO 2nds & FOUR 3rds. Father and son are a very promising team! Congratulations to the both of you, I am very proud :) After a very long day I came home to another one of our little babies being adopted into a new home. Today another baby was adopted!! Whoaaah! Only one baby available from Shiloh's babies and one from Tory's. A brilliant ending to a tough week :)
05.06.10 Thank you all for your lovely emails & updated pictures of your Rosecoloured Ragdoll babies. It is very rewarding to hear you are delighted with your babies and they are happy, healthy, playful & bringing you all much love and cuddles. I love the fact that they have brought you all more than you expected
04.07.10 Today I saw the last of Shiloh's babies go to their new homes. Thrilling to see many excited new mums & dads taking home their new additions with the biggest smiles on their faces. I am now advertising my little boy André Cholét for sale with his sister Chifon Swirl. I am taking a step back from a very successful first breeding season to breed another of my very own. I am expecting my 6th child in February..right in the middle of breeding season. Oooops! I will do my best to breed a limited number of Rosecoloured Ragdolls next season after much encouragement from fellow breeders and past clients to continue, I am very touched by your encouragement..time will tell! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, I have met so many lovely people & we have made all of these lovely people very happy with their Rosecoloured Ragdolls.
06.07.10 Well well well, ten minutes after advertising André, André & Chifon were snapped up by Madeline, a Ragdoll breeder in Brisbane, Queensland. Madeline is very excited to adopt our two babies for her own future stud male and breeding queen. Congratulations Madeline from Autumn Sun Ragdolls.
05.09.10 Hi Everyone and welcome to a new season of Rosecoloured Ragdolls. Breeding season has begun with two of my queens being mated..Tahliah & Tory. I hope to be expecting some Rosecoloured Ragdoll babies from the 30th October onwards for everyone who is on my waiting list and future Rosecoloured Ragdoll forever homes. Evie came into season too but Toulouse was busy unfortunately..so Hopefully next week she will be in with Toulouse. I am away for a week as from 5th September returning on the 12th September. If you send me any emails , please be patient..I promise I will get back to you as soon as I get home. Keep an eye on the kittens available page..bye for now :)
13.09.10 Hi again, I am home and refreshed, amazing what a little sun and relaxation can do for you! Evie has also been mated now and it will be 2-3 weeks to see who is pregnant. Please if you want to adopt a Rosecoloured Ragdoll & you don't have a preference in mind I am still happy to put your name on my waiting list. Emails & phone calls are coming in quite steady already. It doesn't matter if you don't know the gender, colour or markings you would like as yet, that can be sorted out later on. It takes 9 weeks for our Queens to have their babies and then a further 10-12 weeks before our cute little bundles of fluff can go to their forever homes. So as you can see the process is a long one but also very worth the wait!
21.09.10 We have news! Tahliah and Tory are expecting babies to Toulouse. Tahliah's due date is approximately 30th October and Tory's is approximately 6th November. Everyone on my waiting list will now be holding their breath hoping that one of these girls has a baby just right for them. Those waiting for chocolates and lilacs will automatically be considered for Tory's babies if Tahliah does not have any/enough, unless you have chosen to have kittens from Tory's babies. Of course you will get to view the babies via the web site photos as they grow. I will also send you a photo of your new baby after the deposit has been made and keep you updated along the way until your new baby is ready to join your family in their new forever home. Now the excitement begins! I have also mated Evie, Saphyra & Imogen and will keep you updated as to how they are doing when I know for sure if they are having babies too. These babies will be due around the 15th & 24th November if successful.
23.09.10 Welcome Pegasus Prince Frederick from Pegasus Ragdolls, thank you Caren very much he is just divine! Freddie is our new stud boy and has not sired any babies as yet. He is a seal point and is 14 months old. He has the deepest blue eyes..very captivating.
25.09.10 Isobel is in with our new boy Freddie. Please take a look at our available kittens page for expected colourings & markings with all of our babies. I am not even going to mention we had an AFL grand final today! hmmmph! Well done to both teams, how disappointing for all involved....next week!
9.10.10 I have had awful internet problems, please if you make an enquiry leave a phone number so I can call you. I can check emails on my iphone if I cannot check them on my computer and I will call you. I am hoping it is all fixed now... We have two confirmed pregnancies (Tahliah & Tory) I also think Shiloh & Imogen are pregnant too, but will have to wait another week or so. Isobel is in with Freddie again as he is "learning" & Isobel came back into season. November, early December will be a very busy time here for Rosecoloured Ragdolls. I am hoping I will be able to please all of my eagerly awaiting "parents to be" with their new Rosecoloured Ragdoll babies. Rosecoloured Ragdoll babies will be able to go to their forever homes with their new parents throughout January & February, March & April 2011.
25.10.10 Alas neither Evie or Saphyra are pregnant :( Tahliah, Tory, Imogen & Shiloh are. We are now counting down the days for Tahliah to have her babies in about 5 days plus..& usually it is plus a few days. Tory will be following a week or so later. Both girls are wobbling around looking like they swallowed a basketball. Freddie and Isobel have not conceived as yet either. I can now send emails from my iPhone. Things are moving right along here at Rosecoloured Ragdolls.
02.11.10 Tahliah gave birth three days late to four big babies all are going well. She gave birth in just over an hour today, grouse going missy. Sexes & colours markings to be determined at a later date. I will be contacting all parents to be as soon as I know their sexes, colours & markings. If I do not contact you about Tahliah's babies, it is because these babies have gone to those on my waiting list first. I will do my best to keep you updated as to what is happening with new babies. Now it is time to wait for Shiloh's babies, they are due around 26th November, followed by Imogen due around 5th December. "Sometime around those dates there will be babies born" is a safer statement I'd say...stay tuned.
Please contact me if you have found another kitten to adopt as I have many parents to be on my list eagerly waiting for news to adopt a Rosecoloured Ragdoll. If I do not hear back from you when I email you, then i will contact you via phone. If I cannot make contact with you then I will have to let the next person on my waiting list adopt.
06.11.10 Sadly we lost one of Tahliah's little girls yesterday :( Obe is still hanging on, he is a tough little boy. Tahliah's other three babies are doing very well. Colours and sexes still to be confirmed, I am not even going to put my guess up as I am tired & more than likely will not get it right this early. Nope not even a hint..sorry guys... soon I promise. zzzzzzzzzzzz!
08.11.10 Update on Obe, he has gained 3g YAY! Well done little man, made my day today I can tell you. Some say I am getting too involved with my babies, that's the way it should be! Looks like I have 2 boys and 1 girl with Tahliah's babies, they are all hitting on 200g and over now, boofers! Colours still a bit sketchy, more time, more time! :)
*************** Lest we forget ***************
11.11.10 Obe is doing really well, he weighed in at 100g today & I am so proud at this little boys strength. He is absolutely amazing. Tahliah's three all weigh an amazing 250g+ & they all have their eyes open since five days old (really early) With Tahliah's babies, I have one bi-coloured male. Our little girl is a point. Our other boy is a point too, the colours are still too hard to tell on all of them.
22.11.10 Beautiful little Obe is doing wonderful, he now weighs 211g. The colourings are still a little hard to determine with the other kittens. I believe the only little girl is a blue point. One boy is a bi-colour with the biggest round blue eyes, he makes me melt...well they all do... Our other little boy is looking like he is going to be chocolate, they are all taking their time with their markings..they are now 3 weeks old. Photos will be posted at around 4 weeks of age.
26.11.10 Photos are now posted on Available kittens page of Tahliah's babies. Colours and markings are also stated for all of the babies. Yesterday Shiloh decided to surprise me a day early with two of her babies, sadly one was very small at 51g and did not make it past the afternoon :( I was sure Shiloh had more, but she seemed happy and content..I was not convinced. Today Shiloh had 3 more babies... one sadly was stillborn. All surviving three babies are doing well. Well done to Shiloh for being a very cool cat under the circumstances! This season has been full of dramas and surprises, a very unpredictable season to say the least. Imogen is next to be a mummy in early December. Obe is now 233g, well done trooper! Tahliah's babies are all around 450g now.
03.12.10 Georgia is doing better than expected, such a brave little missy! Thanks for the well wishes via email, very lovely & thoughtful. Obe is doing fantastic at 310g this morning! Tahliah's babies are all over 500g, excellent for four weeks old. Shiloh's babies are all doing very well too. We will be having a new member joining our girls as a future queen shortly. She is a Lilac bi-colour from Dineke at Jarrah Ragdolls, once again thank you Dineke from the bottom of my heart. Very pretty little girl I must say! As for her name I think Georgia is going to choose it for her..what's the bet...Tinkerbell?? She has already called her angel teddy she took to hospital Obe!
05.12.10 Cute kitten photos on the available kittens page! Imogen is due today & will be having her babies in the next few days if not tonight. Obe is 359g today and is so sweet and gentle. Shiloh's babies are all doing very well. Isobel has about 3 weeks to go for her babies, as for Evie I think she is expecting and Saphyra...???
07.12.10 This morning Imogen had five babies all is well for now. Tomorrow I will be picking up another addition to our breeding queens from Dineke.
09.12.10 Yesterday Elinda, Georgia & I travelled in the pouring rain up to Dineke's to pick up our little girl we hope to call Lilac Kisses. The weather did not dampen our spirits & "Lilac Kisses" did not disappoint us either. What a beautiful little girl. Thank you again Dineke ♥ You can see a photo of her on my "Our Gorgeous Girls" page as one of our future queens. I must say another warm thank you to my girlfriend Elinda for the beautiful photos of my new breeding girls ♥ We also have another little girl bred by our very own Tahliah & Toulouse who will also be one of our future queens, we have called her Rosecoloured Briar Rose, she is a blue point carrying the chocolate gene. On our "Our Brilliant Boys" page we have our new very own bred little dude we hope to call Rosecoloured MacGyver Blu. He is a blue bi-colour carrying the chocolate gene whose parents are also Tahliah & Toulouse. Imogen's babies are going very very well. I believe we have 2 girls & 3 boys..don't quote me yet! Shiloh's babies are flying along in the weight stakes and two of her boys are big boofers! Obe now weighs 459g!
16.12.10 Whoops! Our blue point male in Shiloh's babies is actually a seal point...still male! He started making me suspicious a few days ago when I noticed how dark he was becoming..sure enough! Sorry for the confusion! Shiloh's other two babies are doing great as well. Obe is now 610g and doing very well. Imogen's babies are all doing wonderfully & I think we have 3 females and 2 males and 3 blues & 2 lilacs, not in that order... as for mitts, points & lynx...more time is need, one is a lynx, one is a blue point :) I should have a rough idea by Christmas. :)
22.12.10 This will probably be my last post before Christmas Day. I know everyone is busy and I will update more after Christmas Day. All babies are doing really well. I will have their Christmas photos done today if I can get them to pose for me :) Isobel is getting rather large and is due in less than a week..if on time! Obe is unreal, he is running around like all of his cousins and has the sweetest nature just like his dad, he knows who I am and comes to me the second he hears my voice. I had a beautiful update of "Teddy Bear" last night from Georgia & her family..wow he is gorgeous at 5.9kilos & not even 12 months old until 10th January 2011 and a real stunner like his dad Toulouse. Email me an with updated photos of your babies anytime. I love to see how they are doing. Wishing everyone a fantastic, safe & happy Christmas Day & New Year, may all of your hopes & dreams be fulfilled..
26.12.10 Welcome Freddie & Isobel's first babies together! Four babies were born tonight, all doing well so far. Christmas Day is over and time to enjoy our babies and looking forward to Evie's birth around the 24th January. I hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday season. Thank you to all for the enquiries and support of Rosecoloured Ragdolls in 2010.
3.01.11 Happy New Year! Imogen's babies are doing very well. Isobel's babies are also doing extremely well. We have 4 boys, two seal mitts, one blue mitt and one blue point. Shiloh's boys are doing great. It is nearly time for Tahliah's babies to go to their forever homes. Obe is amazing as usual and is now weighs 956g. Tory is pregnant & I am hoping she will deliver some beautiful healthy babies without any dramas. She can only have blue & seal with Freddie in points, some lynx. She is due around 14th January.
11.01.11 All of our babies are doing great. Obe and Lancelot aka "Merlin" have now gone to their forever homes. I can tell they are going to be very spoilt little boys! Well worth seeing the looks on new parents and kids faces when they come to pick up their new Rosecoloured Ragdolls to take to them home.
17.01.11 Tory and her four babies are doing fantastic!! They were born yesterday morning and she is being a fantastic mummy. Another of Imogen's babies have been adopted this week leaving only three babies left for adoption, one male & two females. Both of Isobel's seal mitted boys have also been adopted. Congratulations to Peter, Samantha & Marc (2nd Rosecoloured Ragdoll & a friend for Buttons) & Larisa. Time is drawing close for Azrael to join Obe in Louise's household where the kids are just jumping out of their skins to take him home. I really appreciate all of the positive feedback I am getting from my very happy adoptive parents. Again I am very proud and grateful to meet so many nice people. I have had many enquiries for the boys & Briar Rose who I would like to be re-homed with breeders and I am sorry but I won't fix these outstanding kittens as pets. My own birth is approaching very soon (approx 2.5 weeks) and I will no doubt be out of contact for a little while. I will do my best to answer emails as soon as I can.
18.01.11 Looks like our lovely seal boy breeder from Shiloh's babies will be going to a new home in NSW. More on this news later on in the week.
24.01.11 Our big boy from Shiloh has gone to a breeder in NSW. I know you are a very happy woman Janet and I couldn't be more proud to have helped you out. He has settled in immediately and loving the attention. Evie is due today. All babies are doing really well and I will send photos out again as soon as I can get them all done :)
26.01.11 Congratulations Evie & Freddie, six babies this morning on Australia Day. My girls seem to like important dates! All is well so far. We have another interest in my Lilac stud boy, this time a breeder from W.A.
02.02.11 Things are a little hairy in this house right now. No this has nothing to do with the cats or kittens. It is all about Monique & I, but it may affect kitten progress very soon. I have been in hospital and was only allowed out if I was a good girl. Complete rest! I know many of you are waiting on photos and updates. I will try my best to get them to you. The available kittens page is now updated as from today. Photos I am hoping to do tomorrow and email them off as I am not allowed to do much else. I am really sorry for this hiccup but not much I can do about it right now. My due date is drawing near and it is anyone's guess as to when it might happen. I know all who support me and what I do will understand. On the kitten front..all is well. Tory's babies are little boofers. Isobel's babies are nearly 6 weeks old and only two available. (I also think I have an imposter and he is a she, time will tell) Evie's babies are doing really well for a large first litter of six and her babies are thriving. Imogen has only one baby available and he is really a beautiful boy with a lovely nature. Our lilac stud boy is still looking for a breeder to call home. (I don't mind keeping him he is absolutely beautiful) Congratulations to Tracy and Sue on their adoption of a Rosecoloured Ragdoll baby. If you are thinking about adopting a Rosecoloured Ragdoll, please do not leave it too long as I have had a few disappointed people of late. Looking at my site won't secure you a kitten, you will have to leave a deposit before someone else does and yes..it does happen overnight! One minute they are available, the next they are not!
05.02.11 I am still here and still answering enquiries and emails. Congratulations to Cheryl for adopting one of our babies from Tory. Rosecoloured Ragdolls had the highest amount of people viewing my site so far the other day. I thank you all for your interest. If i have emailed you with an available kitten please get back to me asap via email. On the 3rd of February four Rosecoloured Ragdolls where adopted in one day, deposits pending, amazing! Thank you everyone.
24.02.11 Well life is very very full right now. Monique Ella Ruby was born on the 9th February 2011, weighing 7lb 7oz. She is a very good little girl and very much loved. We are coming to the end of the season for Rosecoloured Ragdolls. Tahliah is due tomorrow and Tahliah's babies are the last for the season. Right now at this stage I only have a handful of kittens for forever homes. I have updated my photos except for Evie's babies as they are still a little young and I am trying to find the time to get this done as they take a fair amount of effort at this age to get a decent photo. Many enquiries are still coming through, thank you :)
27.02.11 Congratulations Tahliah & Toulouse on the safe arrival of your six babies today. Colours, gender & markings updates in a few weeks. This week will see more babies going to forever homes & proud parents waiting for the day they can pick up their beautiful little babies.
09.03.11 Evie's babies are all putting on weight now as she lost her milk and I have been hand rearing them. What a trying time. I have no idea how octomum does it! I am feeding my newborn and 6 babies, not to mention the rest of the house and cats!..whoah! Congratulations to everyone who has picked up their babies. I hope you are getting many hours of love from them all :)
20.04.11 Ahh things are calming down here a bit now. Three of Evie's babies are going or gone to forever homes this week, congratulations to Julie, Megan & Kintara. Three babies waiting for their forever homes. They have been de-sexed and fully immunised, all they need now is a microchip each with their new forever address on it. Tahliah's babies are doing great. I am still not 100% sure on some of their colours & markings.. gah! Her little blue point boy has been forever homed to Taryn. I am still getting a steady flow of enquiries, if you do want a Rosecoloured Ragdoll this season please contact me as I have only eight young ones available, three of them might be forever homed very soon :) If you are not looking for a young kitten I have some older kittens available. Please view my available kittens page. I am entering my first cat show this season on the 29th May so I will keep you posted on MacGyver Blu, Mystic Myles, Lilac Kisses & of course Toulouse's results.
7.05.11 Time for another reality check when it comes to buying a much loved kitten. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK!! I cannot stress this enough. Today I forever homed one of our kittens to a family who have been through a terrible experience with a so called registered reputable Ragdoll breeder of 20 years! Their kitten was dead at 9 weeks old! NINE WEEKS!! way too young to go to a new home for a start. I am disgusted at this lack of compliance with the registered cat council's rules. A phone call was made, we were offered an entire (not de-sexed) male cats for half the price of my de-sexed kittens. You may say fantastic..go for it, it will end up in misery. We asked for pedigree papers from this "registered" breeder, we were told to look elsewhere if we wanted papers. If this is ever said to you please please let the alarm bells ring and head for the hills..even head for Rosecoloured Ragdolls :)
01.06.11 Where do I start? Rosecoloured Ragdolls do not have any kittens available at this moment, please continue to check the kitten available page. We entered our first cat show for the year. With Toulouse coming 1st in both of his rings & also top 10 placing in one of his rings. To hear a judge say to the crowd, "Whoever put that Ragdoll in..I really love him!" I was chuffed to say the least! She commented on his most beautiful eyes too. MacGyver Blue also came 1st & 2nd in his rings where Mystic Myles came 1st & 2nd in his rings. Lilac Kisses came 2nd in one of her rings. Mystic Myles was Best Ragdoll kitten & MacGyver was reserve Ragdoll kitten. Mystic Myles also held a place in the top ten kittens :) Very successful day. All of the girls & boys are doing well & gaining their fluffiest winter coats which are looking rather stunning. Briar Rose will be leaving us to join Jen and her family, we will miss her terribly. I have had our very first Rosecoloured Ragdoll owner to own three of our babies, congratulations, Jo, Ben & Lucy :) Congratulations to all new adoptive parents, Jess, Sharron, Vanessa, Jo, Ben, Lucy, Melissa, Juliet & Jen.
22.06.11 Hi everyone, well i have so much to tell you all. Firstly we have another cat show this Sunday 26th June. Good luck to Toulouse, MacGyver, Mystic & Kisses :) Tory has had six beautiful babies to Freddie and they are all doing very well. We have three boys & three girls. I am still waiting on their colours & markings to develop more so I can inform all of you on my waiting list. Their colours and markings can be blue & seal in points and lynx points. Blue seems to be very popular so far on my waiting list. I am now a member of PawPeds & TICA. Please have a browse through their sites, there is some interesting information there for all. I also recommend Sammy's Cat Poles. If you do want to adopt a kitten from Rosecoloured Ragdolls, please read my Adopting page and then please send me an email after reading my Available kittens page. Next we have some exciting news about my breeding program. I have a new boy and girl coming to live with us. They are 100% traditional Ragdolls. 100% traditional means they can be traced back to the four original cats that Ann Baker started with. Their names were Blackie & Josephine, then later came Beauty & Daddy Warbucks. There is a fair bit of confusion over the "correct" story, you may like to do some research of your own. My new babies are from JipsiGlenn Ragdolls & I am proud to say I have made a new friend. I thank you very much Kerry. My new little man will be called Jipsiglenn Beauté Jacques. (Pronounced "Boh Tay") Beautiful Jack or as some of you are already saying in Aussie "You Bewdy Jack!" As for a new name for my new little girl..hmmm jury is out for now :) Photos and updates are to follow.
06.08.11 How naughty of me for not keeping you all updated. I do have a good reason, well not a "good" reason, but an acceptable reason. My baby girl has been in hospital, she is now out & recovering from a bout of nasty bronchiolitis :( We have lots of news..now where do I start? Our new 100% Traditional girl is here from JipsiGlenn Ragdolls & I have decided to call her Beauté Amitié which means beautiful friendship. I am hoping Jack and Amitié will have a beautiful friendship & they seem to since they have been here & Kerry from Jipsiglenn & I will too :) Tory had 6 babies on the 14th June which are now nearly 8 weeks old. I can now update the sexes of these babies & their colours and markings. I have four girls & one boy. Please see Available Kittens page. Tahliah & Toulouse are proud parents to seven babies! This is the biggest litter so far from Rosecoloured Ragdolls! Tahliah is being a wonderful mummy and all of her babies are thriving! Well done wonder mum! I think we have three of each here..time will tell. **CHRISTMAS BABIES THIS YEAR** Shiloh is due to have her babies around the 13th August. Lilac Kisses & Freddie are due their very first babies around 1st September. I wish you luck sweety. Imogen is due around the 11th September & her sister Isobel is due around the 19th September. Evie did not fall pregnant last time but is with Toulouse now. So it will be very busy time for us here in a few weeks with all of these babies. Please email me if you are interested in adopting a Rosecoloured Ragdolls. If you do happen to find a Ragdoll elsewhere, please let me know so I can take you off my waiting list & let the next person get their much waited for Rosecoloured Ragdoll.
11.11.11 Lest We Forget!! Today is also Imogen's, Isobel's & Evie's birthdays, also siblings Bailey, Milly & Rosie's. Happy 2nd birthday to my very first Rosecoloured Ragdoll babies. I cannot start from the start as too much has happened between my last post and now. Yes I know, tisk tisk! We are winding down our season now until mid to late March 2012. We only have 6 babies to go to forever homes. Two are from Chifon's babies will be ready for Christmas. Four are from Tiger Lilly's babies and will be ready in mid January around 6-15th. We also have a very special boy "Cobber" he is a chocolate point male. He is de-sexed and ready to go as soon as he has a microchip with his forever address on it. He is a little timid but still very loving, with the proper love and cuddles this little boy will be a special life long companion. Tahliah is also de-sexed and ready to go to a forever home. She is three years old and has given Rosecoloured Ragdolls some of the most beautiful babies not to mention our largest number of babies (seven) with her last babies. It is time for her to be spoilt and live out her days with a loving family. You are of course welcome to go on my waiting list for a Rosecoloured Ragdoll in 2012. If babies are born in March they will be ready for homes around Mother's Day. Just depends on mother nature :) We will also be having some more retirees throughout 2012, so if you would rather have an older cat than a kitten please check my available kittens page under Retirees. Be safe, be happy & take care.
Please have a happy & safe Christmas & New Year from Rosecoloured Ragdolls.
08.01.12 Hello to a new year! I hope you all had a great Christmas and a happy & safe New Year! My Available Kittens page has changed a great deal from last year. I have now added some photos of the expecting parents as a profile sort of thing. It will just give you an idea of what the parents of your new Rosecoloured Ragdoll look like. Also just to give you an idea of when we might be expecting new babies too I have added detailed information as to what we hope to do this year. I have stated not all of these pregnancies will go ahead or eventuate as Mother Nature has her own mind. What will be will be. I have also added a too and a as well. As we are heading into the time when we need to de-sex some of our mums for forever homes as it is time for them to rest and be pampered. Last year we saw some of our adults go to forever homes. Unfortunately Amberglade Saphyra Rose did not become a mum for us after trying everything we could with her for 3 years, so Saphyra was de-sexed & move on to her new forever home, she is very happy & so is her new owner, Alexander. MacGyver also went to a new forever home, he is also being very spoiled with Julie who also has another Rosecoloured Ragdoll. Briar Rose moved on to live with Jennifer, who says, "She is all we could wish for." Looks like we are doing something right here! Tory, Chifon & Winter will be de-sexed this year..I think! Time will tell on that one too. Tahliah has been de-sexed and is waiting for her new forever home right now. We have a few new mums this year and a couple of new daddies too. Bella, Savannah, Amitié & Cleo will all be new mums with us at some point this year. Dannii, Alexis & Amber will all be new mums with us at some point this year if not early next year. Jacqués & Myles will be new daddies this year too hopefully. Freddie will be moving on to Jarrah Ragdolls to live with Dineke & continue being a stud male for Jarrah Ragdolls. We will also have our very first 100% Traditional Rosecoloured Ragdolls. Amitié will become a mum to Coco from Jarrah Ragdolls and Jacqués will also help with our 100% Traditional Rosecoloured Ragdolls at the end of the year with Amitié too, all fingers and toes crossed! Right now we only have one kitten available and there will be no more Rosecoloured Ragdolls born until mid March, ready for forever homes until the end of June 2012. Please email me if you would like to go on my waiting list for a beautiful Rosecoloured Ragdoll.
04.03.12 Our babies are due this week! We have three girls pregnant, Isobel, Savannah & Chifon. Bella did not fall pregnant this time :( Please keep an eye on my Available Kittens page for updates of when their babies are born. Chifon & Isobel are on a par as to size wise, I will guess four each. Savannah on the other hand is HUGE, I will guess at least six. Good luck to our girls :)
02.05.12 Yes the posts are getting few & far between as I get busier! If you have been keeping an eye on my Available kittens page you will see who had what & when :) The babies were born on the 9th & 10th March all three litters within 18 hours! Isobel was first with her five, one not making it a week later with contracting pneumonia. Chifon then gave me a break for an hour or so & she then had her five, with two not making it eventually, one stillborn & the other I kept going for nearly two weeks only to lose her too. Savannah was next in the wee hours of the morning...wait for it..her first litter...EIGHT babies, our biggest ever litter here at Rosecoloured Ragdolls. Sadly one was stillborn (mummified) another was very very small and died very soon after. Another I kept going for five days and he died too. I took one from Savannah to give her a break and Chifon helped rear her. On a sad note, the start to my breeding season was pretty tough with a few babies not making it, seven in total, i was shattered. It as an awful start with many many tears. It really knocks me around and i start to re-evaluate what I want to do and where I want to go with this hobby of mine. I then get a barrage of support from those who have my kittens via email or Facebook or breeders who know me.. & well... here I am. As it stands now we only have a few babies available. I have been very fortunate to have at least two maybe three of my babies go to breeders in Queensland & Tasmania. I am so excited. It is like keeping them yourself and being able to see them produce more beautiful babies as we keep in touch with the breeders. For some reason the boys are always very handsome and we just cannot keep them all..as I would like to. Shiloh & Bella are due to have babies around the 22nd May. As far as I can guess Tiger Lilly & Amitié did not get pregnant. I would not be surprised if Amitié make a liar out of me! :) Thank you so much to all that keep me updated with your beautiful photos and compliments. It really does keep me going when things do not go according to plan. Being a breeder of these beautiful species is not all glamour, believe me :)
15.05.12 New domestic animal laws have now been introduced!! We as REGISTERED breeders are unable to advertise any kittens for sale unless their microchip number is displayed under the kitten. As we do not & will not microchip our kittens until 10 WEEKS of age when de-sexed. Please feel free to email or call me and enquire about our "future babies" or future availability of babies "just born." Our kittens are all micro-chipped & de-sexed when they leave this house. The needle is a rather large needle for the size of these little kittens. I will NOT microchip any kitten under the age of 8 weeks & that is pushing it! Therefor I cannot display ANY kitten photos on my website. I will however display photos of the babies just born. It will be up to you to contact me if you are interested in discussing one of the "just born or future availability" of these babies with me. Am I happy about this law when I am a responsible, registered, ethical breeder. REGISTERED with my council WITH an excess pet agreement SIGNED by my bordering neighbours & REGISTERED WITH A GOVERNING CAT COUNCIL bound by a code of ethics? NO! It is "us" registered breeders that the councils & governing bodies can keep an eye on. It is any wonder why "we" registered breeders towing the line, doing the right thing get a little stroppy about new laws & backyard breeders who do NOT often follow NONE of the requirements, costs or follow ups we registered breeders do?
28.05.12 Bella had three babies on the 24 & 25th May, sadly we lost two babies on the 26th May & I am feeding the last baby around the clock every 3 hours, Bella has lost her milk. She is still being a very good mummy and keeping him warm while hubby & I feed this little one, we had a deal through the tears and the talk :) Shiloh had a phantom pregnancy otherwise i may have been able to give these babies a better start to life...!! Say no more, if you have been keeping up with these posts, then you will have figured I am more than shattered with these events of late :( c'mon little one...I am so sorry to disappoint everyone on my waiting list....on a more positive note...sigh...Our last little one lost his fight on the 30th May. :'(

15.11.12 Wow... sorry for the BIG break in the updates! We have been very busy of late and we are also having a very late season. Dannii & Lexi are due...ahem...were due yesterday! So once they arrive we will be expecting two more of our girls, Imogen & Isobel to have their babies around the 24th November. We have our retiree Tory looking for a forever home on our Retirees page. Chifon, Tiger Lilly & Bella have all been retired & gone to their forever homes. Kisses & Tory had five babies between them in August & they have all gone to their forever homes now too.
